Changes Coming to FlexRide April 17th
FlexRide Milwaukee started as a pilot program to help expand access to work in the Menomonee Falls and Butler areas. The pilot has ended, but we’re taking what we learned to build the next generation of FlexRide. And that begins on April 17, 2023. Here’s what’s coming:

Expanded Service Hours
With the updated service, we will have a dedicated fleet of comfortable, FlexRide-branded minivans to pick you up and drop you off, including wheelchair-accessible vehicles.

New Zones
You’ll now be able to book rides 24 hours a day from 10:30 pm Sunday through 2:00 am Saturday.
North Side to Menomonee Falls/Butler
New! South Side to Franklin Business Park
FlexRiders can travel to/from anywhere in the Neighborhood Zone to/from anywhere in the Employment Zone with one low fare. That ride is free if you are riding between Employment Zones and designated Transit Hubs.

Fares are $3.00 from any zone.

Additional passengers are $1.50 each.

Weekly Passes are active the moment they are purchased. The passes can be used for up to 4 rides per day for 5 days.

Monthly Passes are active the moment they are purchased. Passes can be used for up to 4 rides per day. Monthly passes expire after one month.
New for cash customers: Ride credits, Weekly and Monthly Passes can be purchased using a prepaid debit card. Vouchers for ride credits and Weekly and Monthly Passes can still be purchased from MCTS.
Free Rides from Transit Hubs
All FlexRiders can get free rides from and to Transit Hubs during all hours of operation. Each hub is easily accessible from at least two MCTS bus routes. The Transit Hub locations are marked with numbers on the zone maps above. You can also download a list of FlexRide Transit Hubs.
